The Pavilion
Central to the Garden lies the Pavilion with its cinderblock walls and vaulted wood ceiling. With funds supplied by a grant from DEQ, construction began in August of 2000 and all but completed except for the roof by January of 2001. With the help of the Umpqua Valley Homebuilders who enlisted the Wolf Creek Job Corps, the roof was constructed at the Job Corps site, dismantled, trucked to the Garden and reassembled to complete the Pavilion by April of 2003. The Pavilion is used by Master Gardeners, school children, garden clubs and other civic organizations.
