Let’s celebrate the season with a hands-on, educational, and fun gathering for mason bee enthusiasts and curious gardeners alike!
Robin Wyll will be leading a session on how to harvest mason bee cocoons from various types of nesting materials. She’ll walk us through:
- Why harvesting is important
- What pests and problems to look out for
- How to wash and store cocoons once you get them home
Tools will be available to share, so bring your filled nesting materials if you raised mason bees this past season. If you didn’t, no problem—come learn the process and get your questions answered if you’re thinking about hosting mason bees in your garden next year.
