Open House February 21, 2026!

Learn more about the Douglas County Junior Master Gardener 4-H Club at our open house on Saturday, February 21 1pm to 4pm at the OSU Extension Service office in Roseburg, 1134 SE Douglas Ave. Drop in any time! We’ll be making fairy gardens and potting up houseplants too!

If you have kids that are interested in joining a horticulture 4-H club, you’ll want to make sure to attend the Open House!

Douglas County Junior Master Gardener 4-H Club

The DCJMG’s is a horticulture club open to all youth ages 9-19 who are enrolled in Douglas County 4-H (cutoff May 1st). Regular group meetings and activities with support in completing individual projects. Participants have an opportunity to take completed projects to the Douglas County Fair, earn placement ribbons, and a get a chance to place at the Oregon State Fair in Horticulture competition.

Examples of Horticulture Projects

  • Fruit and Vegetables
  • Cut flowers and floral arrangement
  • Container plant arrangement
  • Specimen Plant in container
  • Cut herbs
